A body has been pulled from a vehicle submerged in a stream near Te Kuiti today.
Police were notified about a vehicle partly underwater in the Mangaokewa Stream at Rangitoto Rd at about 10.30am.
Police have since recovered a body from the vehicle and are working to identify the body.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
The death will be referred to the Coroner.
