Body pulled from Clutha River

Save Police have recovered a body from the Clutha River near Stirling.
Acting Sergeant Murray Hewitson said police found a male body in the Kaitangata branch of the Clutha River about 3.15pm.
He could not confirm if the body was that of missing Balclutha man Michael Dippie, 55.
The name would
be released after the body had been identified and family members notified.
Mr Dippie disappeared early this month. Concerns were raised after he failed to show up for work.
