A body of a woman has been found around where missing Pahiatua local Elizabeth Udy was last seen.
The body was found at a property on Tudor Rd in Pahiatua around 11 this morning.
Police said this was the same area where Udy was last seen on Wednesday, October 11.
On October 18, police put out an appeal for anyone who may have seen or had contact with Elizabeth, also known as Lizzie, to come forward.
Lizzie was 45 years old and described as European, of slim build, and about 155cm tall. She was wearing a lightweight dressing gown when last seen, and was believed to be on foot with no access to a vehicle.
