Save The death of a 58-year-old man, who was found in Queenstown's Shotover River today, is not suspicious, police say.
The Arrowtown man's body was spotted by a jetboat operator, who called emergency services about 10.40am.
It was found in an area of river near Big Beach, near Arthur's Point, Sergeant
Steve Watt said.
The man's car was discovered parked near the river and police were working to notify his next of kin.
His death was not being treated as suspicious and it had been referred to the coroner, Mr Watt said.
