Bluff Highway closed, serious injuries after two-vehicle crash near Invercargill

The Bluff Highway has closed and there are reports of serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash near central Invercargill this morning.

Police said emergency services responded to the crash at the Bluff Highway intersection with Kew Rd around 6am.

“Indications are there are serious injuries.”

Hato Hone St John sent one ambulance, one manager and one rapid response vehicle.

The road will remain closed at the intersection with Kew Rd while emergency services work at the scene.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and consider taking alternate routes.
