An opportunity has arisen within Integrated Foods Group, an innovative group of companies with extensive agri-business interests including a large farming and production base in the Gisborne region, a lamb processing business in Napier and sales/marketing team located in Auckland. The business specialises in the process and manufacture of beef and lamb products for a select group of retail customers located in both domestic and export markets.

The opportunity includes block management of a 1000+ Ha sheep and beef farm at Whatatutu, 40 minutes from Gisborne. Reporting to the Farm Manager, the successful applicant will need the right attitude to push traditional boundaries to achieve best production outcomes for the Group.

To be successful, you will have
Sound knowledge of modern farming or finishing practices

Excellent grazing management and planning skills

Excellent stockmanship skills incl. a capable team of dogs

Willingness to learn, implement and comply with professional management practices

Effective interpersonal skills

Committed to growth and development of self and others

Strong improvement focus coupled with solution based thinking
