The Black Caps may have two extra players for their tour of Australia next month.
But there are doubts about whether Steve or Rosie will be named in the starting XI, batsman Kane Williamson says - their form hasn't been too flash lately.
Williamson and fellow batsman Tom Latham arechampions for this year's Buddy Day, an annual event held on November 13 to raise awareness about child abuse and help create a more positive environment for children.
Before joining their four-day Black Caps camp in Hamilton yesterday, Williamson and Latham popped into the school holiday programme at Artmakers, where they chose their buddies from a selection made by the children, answered questions and played some cricket in a nearby park.
