Will he, or won't he?
Sonny Bill Williams' first baby is due this week, but whether the All Black star will leave the UK tour for the birth is unknown.
Williams lined up for the All Blacks against England at Twickenham this morning, less than a week out from his wife's due date of November 15. Alana Raffie, 21, is reportedly having the baby in Sydney.
The tour is due to finish on November 23 after remaining tests against Scotland and Wales, and Williams' Sydney-based manager, Khoder Nasser, yesterday told the Herald on Sunday that "at the moment" it appeared his star client would stay on until the end of the tour, but that could change.
"All I understand is his priorities are overseas and his concentration is overseas, but I'm sure he's planning to come home after that," he said.
Nasser, who has two children of his own, said he couldn't predict the impact having a child would have on Williams' career.
"You don't know until you have them.
"He is intensely private about his personal life but he will cross that bridge when he comes to it and I'm sure he will take it one step at a time," Nasser said.
The couple secretly wed in August last year, and the marriage wasn't revealed until they had a delayed honeymoon in Bali in February.
