Beyonce touches down in Auckland

New Zealand's a-list quota is reaching extreme levels, with the arrival of R&B/pop superstar Beyonce.

The singer, who was this year voted number 52 in a list of the 100 greatest artists of all time, will join her husband - hip hop superstar Jay-Z - who is in New Zealand for two sell-out concerts at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium.

Whether Beyonce (Knowles) would come to New Zealand to accompany her husband has been a hot topic with fans online.

While officials have given no comment, fan Sam Bellingham managed to take a photo with the star this morning at Auckland Airport.
