Beets suspect identified

A suspect in the murder of New Zealand-born nurse Michelle Beets has been identified by Sydney police as a foreign national who worked alongside her at Royal North Shore Hospital.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported the man began a year-long contract with the emergency services department - which Ms Beets managed - in 2008.

It was not renewed because the hospital reduced its temporary staffing.
