A "feisty and beautiful" woman was remembered in Dunedin yesterday.
Rosie Crozier, 21, died in a two-car crash on the Waimate Highway, at Morven, on Monday just after 7.30pm. Two others were seriously injured.
Sam Crozier said her daughter was "amazing, strong, feisty and beautiful and taken from me toosoon".
Rosie celebrated her 21st birthday on May 16 and was returning home on Monday after going away with her partner for the long weekend.
Rosie was much loved by her sister Siobhan, 22, brother Kameron, 19, half-sister Becky Crozier, 30, and step-sisters Caitlin, 21, and Kendra, 19, Buist, said her mother.
She was born in England and moved to Dunedin in 2004 and attended Balaclava School and Otago Girls High.
Stepfather Craig Buist said his stepdaughter worked in hospitality but her "dreams and goals" were to work in early childhood education. "She got on extremely well with children and loved working with children."
The family were "very emotional and struggling", Buist said.
