Robertson Road Primary School was given a treat today, when, Manu 'The Beast' Vatuvai was the guest at a special training session before giving a few words of inspiration to the entire school. Manu reflected on his own childhood past and told stories of how hard work & dedication to anything is the key to success.
Manu "The Beast" Vatuvei proved to be a big hit with a group of youngsters at Robertson Road School, in Mangere.
There were huge smiles and big laughs all around as the Warriors star visited the school yesterday.
Vatuvei, who grew up in South Auckland, ran drills and a shorttraining session with a lucky group of students who got to spend an hour with the player.
The visit was organised by Sky TV.
Robertson Road School principal John Nicholls said rugby league was a popular sport for many of the students, who were thrilled to meet the player.
