Two major gains for the Wairarapa United men's soccer squad in 2005, Murray Burling and Andrew Taylor, are pictured before the side's impressive 4-1 win over Hutt Valley in a pre-season match played at Carterton's Howard Booth Park on Saturday. Burling played for Manawatu at national league level over the summer months while Taylor, a former national senior and age group rep, has recently arrived in Masterton after spending seven seasons in the United Kingdom.Both Burling and Taylor had their early soccer upbringings in the Wairarapa.
