Save The accident happened in Makarau this morning.
A baby has been hurt after being hit by a car at a residential property in Makarau, north of Auckland about 7am today.
The 1-year-old did not have life-threatening injuries and was expected to fully recover, police said.
St John ambulance said the child was taken to Starship Hospital by
ambulance in a serious condition.
The car's driver knew the baby and police are making enquiries into how the accident happened.
