Nigel Peterson, an autistic man in 24-hour care, remains missing tonight as police wrap up the day's search.
The Rotorua 33-year-old has been missing since 3pm on Friday when he jumped out of a car on Otanga Rd.
Police said the search would continue tomorrow from 7am.
Peterson's family have
been out searching for him, along with a team of 18 police officers and volunteers.
Rotorua Police asked anyone who may have seen Peterson to contact them on 07 349 9139.
