A woman could be jailed for life after allegedly trying to smuggle 22kg of methamphetamine into New Zealand inside her checked luggage.
The unemployed 33-year-old was detained yesterday at Auckland International Airport.
Court documents show she landed in NZ on flight SQ285 from Singapore.
The Class A controlled
drug was allegedly found in her checked baggage.
She has been charged with one count of importation and is due to appear in Manukau District Court this afternoon.
