Truck, car crash causes major delays on Auckland’s Southern Motorway near Mt Wellington

Auckland’s Southern Motorway has fully reopened after a crash between a car and a truck, though delays may still be possible.

The crash was blocking the left northbound lane, just past the Mt Wellington Highway off-ramp.

Police said the crash was reported at 11am and one person was being taken to hospital suffering moderate injuries.

The NZ Transport Agency warned motorists to expect delays.

Google Maps showed traffic backed up about 4.5km towards Mt Wellington, stretching to Ōtāhuhu.
