Traffic has cleared on Auckland’s Southern Motorway after a truck carrying a small house collided with an overbridge earlier this afternoon.
Police said in a statement they were called to the scene between the Papakura and Manurewa-Takanini off-ramps near Conifer Grove on State Highway 1 at 3.25pm.
There were noreported injuries.

New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) confirmed at about 4.50pm that all lanes have now opened.

Passerby Emilie Mous described the extent of the crash site, saying there was “a huge amount of insulation, wood, small bits of glass, even some big panels that looked like a whole wall came off.
“It was easy to see from a distance and everyone was turning out of the slow lane, traffic turned very slow,” she said.
