Bus routes have been detoured after the crash.A section of a road in nearby Blockhouse Bay is also closed due to a damaged power pole.
Police say emergency services attended a single-vehicle crash just after midday on Blockhouse Bay Rd near the intersection with Matata St.
A power pole was damaged.
“Fortunately the occupant of the vehicle is not seriously injured.”
Blockhouse Bay Rd is closed at the Puketea St and Margate Rd intersection.
“Expect delays in the area or take an alternative route.”
Contractors have arrived to repair the power line. It is unclear how long the repair will take.
