Auckland rail computer system hit by 'intermittent faults'

Save Passenger display boards and ticket machines were not working at some Auckland railway stations today.
Auckland Transport said testing by a new data service provider impacted on the AT circuit causing "intermittent faults at a number of stations."
From 5am, display boards were out at Britomart, Newmarket and Onehunga.
At
mid-morning, the fault affected ticket machines mainly at Newmarket, Grafton, New Lynn and the Onehunga line.
Circuits were restored during the afternoon before the evening commuter peak, said a spokesman for Auckland Transport.
