Two crashes have brought Auckland's northern motorway to a standstill this morning.
Traffic has eased on Auckland's northern motorway after two crashes caused gridlock this morning.
NZTA spokeswoman Sarah Azam said it appeared traffic was moving again after a serious crash blocking all lanes near Greville Road was cleared by emergency services.
Update: All lanes now open following crash citybound prior to Grevilly off-ramp. Traffic is heavy but will hopefully ease quickly ^LC

The crash citybound on the Northern Motorway at the Grevilleoff-ramp was earlier blocking all lanes.
An earlier crash near Northcote had also blocked a lane and left traffic backed up to Greville Road.
