Part of an Auckland motorway was blocked off because of an incident this afternoon.
The link to State Highway 16 and Port St was cordoned off by several police officers just before 2pm.
The circumstances for the cordon are not yet known, but the NZ Transport Agency called it a"police incident'' and warned motorists to allow for extra time for diversions to be put in place around the Auckland CBD.
Just before 2.15pm, transport authorities said the link routes after St Marys Bay were opened to motorists again.
