The condition of a man stabbed at Auckland Hospital has improved.
He was attacked on the grounds just before 3pm and was last night in a critical condition.
The hospital said this morning that while he is still in critical care, he is now in a stable condition.
A 56-year-old
man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The man is appearing in the Auckland District Court today.
