A rubbish truck has caught fire in downtown Auckland.

Smoke is pouring out of the Auckland Council vehicle, which was on Hobson Street.

One fire engine has been dispatched to put the fire out.

No one has been injured or is at risk.

The incident is believed to be blocking some traffic.
