A false alarm at Auckland Airport caused several passengers to be evacuated while the fire service conducted a safety check.
Three rooms, part of the Auckland Airport Airside Passenger Lounges, had to be evacuated just before 6pm on Sunday.
"A number of people have been evacuated," an Auckland Airport spokeswoman
said.
The lounges house members of Qantas, Emirates and Stratus.
Three fire trucks attended the scene, which turned out to be a false alarm, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said.
