Auckland airport evacuated after alarm activated

Auckland Airport's domestic terminal has evacuated after a false alarm this afternoon.

A fire service spokesperson said there had been an alarm activation but crews have not found anything.

An airport spokesperson said the incident has not cause any major disruptions to flights and people are now re-entering the terminal.

National MP Jackie Blue was one of those evacuated from the airport.

"Fire alarm at Auckland airport. Hundreds of people have filed out. Major disruption," she
tweeted.
