Mrs Ryan was pleased with how the day ran and said it was a "lovely atmosphere".
Workshops included social media, how to avoid being scammed, road safety, looking after family heirlooms and Tai Chi.
Masterton District Library digital services librarian Jeremy Langley ran the social media workshop, including advice on Facebook and Skype.
He said it was a great opportunity for people to learn how to use technology.
"The way technology is moving and how cost-effective it is, it's becoming more and more important," Mr Langley said.
Stall-holders included Wairarapa Camera Club and Junior Neighbourhood Support.
Junior Neighbourhood Support co-ordinator Sarah Taylor-Waitere said turnout was great.
