A Dunedin schoolgirl has sustained ''moderate injuries'' in an alleged assault by another pupil today.
At about 11.40am police received a report that a student had assaulted another student at Otago Girls' High School.
A St John spokesman confirmed the 14-year-old girl was taken to Dunedin Hospital with moderate injuries.
Police are investigating the incident.
