Two more Chorus boxes in Masterton have taken on a new lease of life thanks to the efforts of Connecting Communities Wairarapa and artist Adair Davis.
Both revamped boxes are in Lansdowne, with one in Third St and the other in Totara St.
The Third St box depicts a kingfisherand native flora while, in Totara St, the newly decorated box shows children at play, a theme in keeping with the existence of preschools nearby.
Both scenes are coated in anti-graffiti paint to deter vandals.
The decorations add to painted Chorus boxes in other parts of the town and in Carterton.
Other boxes in Lansdowne are on the list to be given an artistic overhaul and a Vodafone box outside Masterton District Council's offices has also been painted.
