Police have made two arrests in relation to two aggravated robberies in Palmerston North, but are still on the lookout for other offenders.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested in relation to an aggravated robbery at a The Butt Bucket tobacconists in Main St. He has been charged with a
number of offences relating to the robbery, and offending which occurred hours before.
He appeared in the Palmerston North District Court today and has been remanded in custody.
A stolen vehicle used in the robbery has also been located but police continue to make inquiries to locate a co-offender.
Police have also made an arrest after a robbery at the Rewa Dairy on Botanical Rd at about 4pm on Thursday. Police executed a search warrant at a Palmerston North address near the dairy today and arrested a male.
