A 28-year-old chef has appeared in court over an attack on woman in a central Auckland cemetery.
Victor Mykhailov appeared in Auckland District Court today on charges of rape, unlawful sexual connection, aggravated wounding and abduction.
The charges relate to an attack on a woman at the Symonds St cemetery
on March 15.
The woman suffered serious injuries in the attack.
Mikhailov was remanded in custody until May.
