Arrest after man shot in the leg in Christchurch

A man has leg injuries after he was shot in Dickson Crescent last night.

A man will appear in court today after a shooting in Hornby yesterday.

Police allege he twice shot another man in the leg with a shotgun on Dickson Cres, Christchurch. They say the shooting was gang-related.

The victim has had surgery star.kiwi reports.

Part of Dickson Cres remains cordoned off after last night's shooting, but residents are able to go to their homes.
