Army instructor charged with harassment

An army instructor faces harassment charges, including an allegation he demanded a female soldier perform a sexual act on him in order to pass her course.

The Defence Force confirmed to the Sunday Star-Times that the instructor, a lieutenant-colonel, had been charged with a range of offences which allegedly occurred at Waiouru and Linton military camps in 2006.

The newspaper said it was understood the instructor had been drinking when he allegedly made his indecent proposal.
