Save An Armourguard van has been robbed by four armed, masked men in Upper Hutt, police say.
At about 4.25pm, the men held up the van while it was parked in Main Street, Upper Hutt.
Nobody was injured in the robbery and it is not known how much money was taken.
The offenders drove off in a car and abandoned it in Ebdentown Street, before jumping into another car that was parked in Clouston Park Road.
The second vehicle is a silver 2003 Honda Integra, reg: FJQ690.
