A club in Te Kuiti was robbed yesterday by two people armed with a rifle, and police are appealing to the public for information.
The two men entered the Waitomo Club armed with a rifle just before midnight yesterday, pointing it at a patron and a member of staff.
The
two offenders, believed to be aged in their late 20s or early 30s, left on foot after taking cash from the till.
They were wearing hoodies and material covering their faces, police said.
