Armed police in Lower Hutt after gun sighting

Armed police were outside a house in Lower Hutt, after a man holding a gun was seen going inside.
Officers on the Armed Offenders Squad were called out to Harrison Crescent, Avalon this morning.
Central Police communications said police were still in the area but no one was injured.
Inspector
Mike Coleman said two males were seen with a firearm at a property and one was seen going to another address later.
He said the man didn't have a firearm on him when he left that property.
