“The victim was transported to hospital, by ambulance, in a serious condition,” Hill said.
Hill said the assault appeared to be a road-rage incident, believed to have started on Higgins Rd.
The incident then made its way to the intersection where the assault occurred.
“Police know there were at least two offenders but are yet to identify them or their vehicle, and are now asking the public for their help,” Hill said.
