Northcote Residents' Association has dropped its Environment Court appeal. But spokesman Kevin Clarke said the developerwas threatening to claim costs if it won which could run into the millions of dollars.
Clarke said he had not changed his mind on the scheme, which he believe would be a financial, functional and environmental failure.
