AOS called to Dunedin suburb for search warrant

The armed offenders squad has been called to the Dunedin suburb of Pine Hill this morning as part of a search warrant.

A police spokeswoman said police were carrying out a routine search warrant in Fea St and AOS were there as a precaution.

A witness saw about 12 police, four police cars and a van near the address.

Another witness said the street was blocked off.
