The woman who bought tickets for tonight's concert was frustrated Ticketmaster's fraud team knew about the issue but wasn't doing enough to warn customers about it.
She had been unaware that Viagogo was not a reliable site to buy from.
"If they knew that that was going on they should at least send a communication to the people, that's all it takes," she said.
She was also shocked to discover that the price on the website, $271 for the two tickets, was actually in American dollars. She did not discover the difference until about $400 went out of her bank account for the payment.
The way the site was designed put her under pressure to buy the tickets quickly.
"They give you a certain amount of minutes to do the purchase, or you miss your chance. It keeps sending a message 'there are 116 people looking at the same tickets as you at this moment'."
She is looking into getting a refund from Viagogo but is not holding her breath.
Viagogo has been contacted for comment.
On its website, Viagogo states that "buyers are guaranteed to receive valid tickets in time for the event. If a problem arises, viagogo will step in to provide comparable replacement tickets or a refund."
