Progressive Coalition leader Jim Anderton predicts there could be another election within months unless Labour and his party gain a majority in Parliament on July 27.
He accused the Greens and New Zealand First of using "fear tactics" and said they could not offer stable support for a new government.
Latest polls
show Labour, plus Mr Anderton, with just enough seats to hold a majority in the 120-member Parliament. If they fail to get that, Labour will have to seek support from other parties.
