Two All Black dads have torn themselves away from their newborn babies for the sake of the game.
Piri Weepu and Jerome Kaino have both become fathers again in the past week, and both are now back with the team's training camp preparing for the Rugby World Cup.
Weepu, aprolific Twitter user with more than 13,000 followers, posted photos of his new daughter, Taylor Iritana Allison Weepu, on the website. Taylor is a little sister for 13-month-old Keira.
For Kaino and wife Di it was a son: Kobe Sa Kaino, born on September 1 in North Shore Hospital, a little sister for two-year-old Milan.
Kaino's mother Veronica Kaino said: "He's happy to have a boy."
The bonnie baby weighed 4.09kg and measured 51cm long.
"Mum and baby are doing really well," she said. Kaino had stayed with Di in hospital until yesterday morning, when he returned to the All Blacks' camp.
No word, though, on what Father's Day held for either dad.
