All Black taken off flight named

Stephen Bachop has been named as the former All Black taken off an Air New Zealand flight to Tahiti in handcuffs on Wednesday.

Newspapers reported yesterday that a former All Black became "increasingly obnoxious" on the flight from Auckland to Papeete.

Cabin crew refused to serve him more alcohol but he began roaming the cabin and taking drinks from other passengers.

The Sunday Star-Times identified the man as Bachop, a former Otago, Hurricanes and Manu Samoa first five-eighths.
