All Black captain Richie McCaw gets Go Girl support

All Blacks captain Richie McCaw has been spending time with newly single Go Girls star Anna Hutchison.

The pair were spotted together at a private party this month.

McCaw has been single since he broke up with Newstalk ZB journalist Nicola Grigg in July.

He had previously been linked to TV personality Jessie Gurunathan and had dated dancer Hayley Holt.

But in recent months, he is said to have been making the most of his footloose and fancy-free status.

Hutchison, meanwhile, split just recently from former Home and Away actor Jason Smith.

A TV insider confirmed the relationship had lasted several years. "As far as I know she is single and enjoying the single life."

But since then, said another source, Hutchison had been in high spirits on the set of Go Girls. "She was just the happiest person in the whole world."

Hutchison flew to Los Angeles last week to view a screening of her new horror movie Cabin In The Woods.

But first, she Tweeted her support of Richie.

"Look who showed up to the @gogirlsnz trailer!" she wrote. "Yay 100 games @RichieHMcCaw."

She told the Sunday Telegraph this year that she was a bit of a "tomboy" in real life.

"I like the footy and sports. I am more comfortable in running gear than I am in heels, because I usually trip up in them."
