Air NZ scores passengers

Air New Zealand has snared at least 24 people from Jetstar flights who have swapped carriers after a delay or flight cancellation.

The carrier began offering $50 flights this week to "distressed" Jetstar passengers who faced "significant disruption" from delayed flights, or who were denied check-in.

An Air New Zealand spokeswoman said the carrier had sold at least 24 special fares to Jetstar passengers.
