Acting High Commissioner home from Fiji today

New Zealand's Acting High Commissioner to Fiji comes home today. Caroline McDonald was told to get out of Suva last week, after the military government accused her of meddling in Fiji's politics.

The allegation has been flatly denied, and in retaliation Fiji's High Commissioner in New Zealand has been told to go. Ms McDonald is on a commercial flight.

She is expected to make a brief statement about the affair when she arrives in Auckland this afternoon.
