Save A 71-year old man received multiple injuries after he was allegedly assaulted and knocked unconscious in Alexandra on Saturday night.
Constable Rhys Tait said a 30-year-old man had been charged with disorder after the incident in Killarney St.
Alcohol had played a part, he said.
The elderly man had been
admitted to Dunstan Hospital in Clyde.
