A 7-year-old boy suffered serious injuries in a fall from a motorcycle in Otago this evening.
The incident happened about 44km north of Dunedin, near Waikouaiti.
A St John spokesman said the ambulance service was alerted at 6.33pm.
"We sent the Otago rescue helicopter with St John paramedics on boardand an ambulance to the scene, which was a private residence on Ramrock Rd near Bucklands Crossing."
