Lotto powerball jackpotted again last night but a million-dollar Winning Wheel was won.
The Powerball prize will be worth an estimated $25 million next week.
"With Powerball jackpotting again, next week's prize will be sure to get everyone talking - and if it's won by a single ticket, it'll be the third-biggest prize ever won in New Zealand," said Lotteries chief executive Wayne Pickup.
Strike Four was also not struck and jackpotted to an estimated $800,000 next week.
Meanwhile, Auckland mother Rose-Marie Nathan spun Lotto's Winning Wheel and won the top prize of $1 million in the live draw in the capital.
Last night's Winning Wheel ticket was bought at Minimart & Lotto Shop in Pakuranga, Auckland. The serial number is 399-56732432-20XX.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
Anyone who bought their ticket from the store should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet.
According to a survey of lottery winners, about half give some money to charity and more than 90 per cent share winnings with their family.
