An Auckland schoolgirl reported missing before Christmas has been found safe and well.
The 12-year-old was reported missing about 6pm on December 22 and was last seen wearing black track pants, a white T-shirt and jacket and grey sneakers.
Police and family had concerns for her wellbeing and she
was believed to be somewhere in the Auckland city centre.
Police confirmed this morning that the girl, from Remuera, had been found safe and well.
"Police thank the public for their concern and assistance," a statement said.
